CATALYST RIDGE WINES
2019 Pinot Noir
This wine has a rich, fruit forward nose, with a focus on overall structure and balance in tannins and acidity. Black cherry on the front-end with rich medium body with a silky mouth feel. Fermented with the indigenous yeast from the vineyard, the focus of this Pinot Noir is on displaying the terroir and the expression of the site. While it can be enjoyed on its own, it pairs well with lean beef and pork.

Farming and the 2019 Growing Season
The 2019 growing season produced lower than average yields, resulting in bolder and intense flavors. With a crop yield of 1.66 tons per acre, our approach of expressing the unique characteristics of the vineyard and the vintage were on display in the 2019 year. The Orchard House vineyard, the estate of winemaker Joe Dobbes, is organically farmed allowing the full expression of the vineyard on display in our Pinot Noir.
